Ruby and I are selling cookies on the street, 2 for 1 (that's 2 dollars for 1 cookie ;). We are raising money to buy leotards for our upcoming talent show at school. We've raised over $65 so far. THANK YOU NEIGHBORS!!!

4th Annual Alcatraz Swim For Sight
Today we helped my classmate, Noah, and his family at their annual fundraiser for UCSF Vision Research. We had a great time, even getting up at 5:45am to get there! I was on live TV too!

Hector's visiting Tulane Street
Hector is spending a few weeks with our neighbors while his owners are vacationing in Cuba. He's the cutest, sweetest, friendliest dog ever!

3rd Grade Science Fair
Of course there was a chicken theme! This year I tested to see which solution (independent variable) would 'melt' the chicken eggshell the fastest (dependent variable). Toilet bowl cleaner with 8% hydrochloric acid was the winner- it cooked the entire egg in about 30 minutes! YIKES!

Team Work!
This past weekend we stayed overnight in Berkeley. I went to the open gymnastics on Saturday night and Sunday we spent all day at the Lawrence Hall of Science. We all had a good time building things together.

Checks
Mommy Laura isn't sure why she gets paid less for "being a good mom" than one of her teachers for teaching me, but it was too cute not to share.

Bye, Bye, Heather
The best babysitter ever is moving away, finally. Heather swooped in and rescued me from three prior babysitters that I fired shortly after moving to San Francisco. We clicked instantly. Heather is moving to New York City to be closer to her family so I hope that I will see her again soon. She's getting married next month and then having a baby in February-- that will be one lucky baby!

Santa Cruz Weekend
We went to Santa Cruz this weekend. I rode the rides on the Boardwalk on Saturday and we went to the Beach on Sunday. It was so much fun, even though the water was cold.

Want to buy some perfume?
Ruby and I made perfume this weekend with sage, lemon, and rose from the backyard. The house smelled amazing during our production.... and we made $4 from the neighbors!

Off to Ohio!
My gym/dance teacher, Ms. Abbie, escorted me to Ohio so I could spend the week with my cousins. I had a really great time swimming, camping, trampolining, fishing, haying, and just having fun.

Lilly Rose
This weekend we watched Haley's dog, Lilly Rose. I had a lot of fun (and walked a lot, too). Daddy Pat even got to spend some quality time with her as you can see!

East Coast Visitors
This past week, Morgan and John (and Sonja!) came to visit us. They drove up from LA along Route 1. We went to an A's game, celebrated Morgan's 14th birthday?!?, ate pizza, and acted plenty silly- including my powerpoint Birthday presentation to John which primarily was composed of wedding photos.

WONDER-ful Week at TMMC
This week I attended camp at The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito. Mommy Laura and I stayed the week at the Hostel in the Marin Headlands National Park too. It was a fun week: I saw Wonder, a female California Sea Lion released (in the video above, you can see my hair at the end), watched a Dolphin autopsy, went on hikes, played at the beach after camp, dissected a fish, and met a new friend at the hostel. We also saw a lot of wildlife, and had a surprise visit from Daddy Pat on one of the days.

Obstacle course success!
This past week I spent the week building an obstacle course with about 20 other kids my age. I learned how to use the chop saw, drills, put on hinges, and went to the beach one of the days. At the end of the week we presented the course to our parents, and then we tore it down. I will be remembered for being a climber, tied for 1st in the kid category for the pull up competition, and asking a lot of questions. Will this be an annual tradition? Check out this link for a bunch of other pictures of our week building: https://flic.kr/s/aHskeP8s9q
