Father's Day

On Sunday we walked over to our most amazing neighborhood McLaren Park to practice baseball and play kick ball. 

Row, Row, Row Your Boat

On Sunday, we went to Golden Gate Park to see the bison, watch the fly fisherman practice their skills in a special pool, performed a gymnastics routine in the meadow, and went boating in Stow Lake.

Rube Goldberg Machine

Today our team (me, Addy, and Alex) "The Bear Trappers" showed off our Rube Goldberg Machine.  My job was to hit the marble with the binder clip, watch it go down the track and tube, knock over the blue blocks and trap the bear.  It took a few times but our team finally got it!

California Girl

This weekend we took a road trip along the coast to see where Blackerella and her posse were born in Lompac, which just so happens to also be the Flower Seed Capital of the World.  We saw the amazing Pacific Ocean, thousands of elephant seals, waded in the ocean, and sang a few silly songs along the way and back.

When Mommy Laura asked me what I wanted to do on Mother's Day, I told her I wanted to go to the beach.  So Sunday morning we headed out on the bus to Ocean Beach and had a great time building sand castles and getting wet.  I brought home beautiful sand dollars and some sea glass.  

Chicken Egg-spert

My final science project presentation is coming up in a few weeks.  My topic is "Chickens"  and  I have been self declared as the Alta Vista School Resident Chicken Egg-spert.  In a few weeks we are hoping to make a trip to the farm where Blackerella, Fuzzy, Nugget, and Goldie were all born. 

Skirt

This weekend we made a skirt from a pattern out of my new Sewing Book for a play I am in this week.  I am "fire" (naturally, of course).
