Grandparent's Day

Grandma and Grandpa McDonald came to visit this past weekend for Grandparent's Day.  We had a nice time hanging out in the park and playground, visiting Muir Woods, and eating Chinese and Mexican Food.  I can't wait to see everyone in August.

Mother's Day

On Mother's Day we went to the Farmer's Market with my friend Haley, shot bows and arrows (Mommy Laura won, followed by me, and Daddy Pat got the bronze medal), and hiked in Glen Canyon Park.

Trip to Santa Monica

What a trip!  Mommy Laura and I took the MegaBus to LA for my spring break.  On the way down and back we looked out the window, did crafts and mad libs galore.  Cousin Bobby picked us up from the bus station and took us to Santa Monica.  We went bike riding, ate cotton candy and hamburgers more than once, hung out at the beach, flew a kite, rode bikes, played at awesome playgrounds, spent A LOT of time at the amusement park (including the roller coaster!), won tickets at the arcade, shopped, bought tap shoes, got a (henna) tattoo, and had a nice time at the hostel.  I can't wait to go next year.

"Play Date" with Kyle

On Sunday my friend Kyle and I went to Adventure Playground in Berkeley.  There are only a few playgrounds like this left in the U.S. and one happens to be right here.  We got to play on the Zipline (which ends in a big pile of dirt) and build an airplane using a saw and hammer.  And play on the play structures.
