Gold!

We were learning about the Gold Rush in school this past week so we took an overnight trip out to Columbia State Park.  I got to (successfully) pan for gold and other gems, took a very entertaining stagecoach ride (ask Daddy Pat), saw Blackerella's cousins, drank Sarsaparilla, watched the blacksmith, and learned more about the Gold Rush history.

I had such a great time reconnecting with my Canadian friends Annie and Sam in Edmonton.

AVS Talent Show

Playdate!

I had a playdate with Vivian and Lucy (twins at my school).  We went to the Mani-Pedi place, Mexican lunch, Dolores Park, and Bi-Rite Creamery for dessert.  I had such a fun time with them!

Birthday celebrationS

Ruby and Oliver and I went to the Rainforest Cafe on my birthday.  It was so much fun!  And Adam and Michael came over for our annual birthday dinner. 

Evening Lecture with Alma

Alma and I went to see Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson.  He was really funny and we learned a lot about how science fiction movies are NOT scientific!
