6 months old!

Tomorrow I will be 1/2 year old! Happy Day to me :) Today we celebrated by going to the Clinton Street Block Party. They had a children's parade, potluck, balloon toss, and tug of war (daddy pat did that) and Mommy Laura helped with face painting. I had fun playing with their shoes.

6 month Checkup:
Weight: 16 lbs 7 oz
Height: 26 inches
75th percentile for both height and weight

Here are a list of my favourite (since I'm Canadian that's how we spell it here) things:
Favourite Book: "I am a Bunny" by Richard Scarry and "I am Canada"
Favourite Song: Wheels on the Bus
Favourite Toy: Activity Mirror, Soft blocks
Favourite Activity: Chores like making coffee, putting the dishes away, filling water bottles

I can sit up all by myself and we are working on my pincher grasp. I will probably start eating real food soon too.

My first swimming lesson

Tonight Daddy Pat and I had our first swimming lesson. I got my face underwater (and didn't cry), wore a life jacket, and sang some songs while we swam. I had so much fun, I fell asleep on the walk home.
