Mommy Laura noticed about 50 or so of these on her phone this weekend.  She's still trying to figure out who the culprit was who figured out how to take photos without a password......Although the evidence is pretty clear.

First Chess Tournament

This past Saturday I attended my first chess tournament.  Every Wednesday after school I have a lesson by the Mechanics Institute and five of us from school competed this weekend.  I played two games and won a medal too.

Current Event: Rescues!

Three times a year at school, I have to do a current event presentation.  This time, I read an article about an elephant seal pup who was attacked by a coyote a few hours south of San Francisco.  Some bicyclists 'rescued' the seal pup by calling the Marine Mammal Center hotline and the seal was sent to their center in Sausalito, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge.  We visited there last weekend and I got to see "Coyote" in person!  Afterwards, the trip also included a visit to the beach where we watched a dramatic air/sea/land rescue of a kayaker who got his kayak stuck in the rocks.
