All by myself

Mommy Laura looked over in amazement and found that I had put this together all by myself with some labels I like to play with. By the way, Grandpa Wagner put this desk together years ago and it's well loved.

Tucking In...

Grandma and Aunt Tessa came to visit me. I enjoyed tucking them in to bed each night.

Grandparents

I had my fill of grandparenting this past week. First Grandma Juanita came to help us out for the week. She and I did a lot of sewing together "Grandma Juanita is the best sewer":

(making Chocolate Pudding with Grandma Juanita)

Then I went to visit Nonnie Liz and Grandpa Bill in Philadelphia. They took me to Sesame Place while Mommy Laura went on a shopping spree. We also raked leaves and played a lot! I had fun taking the train down and the Megabus back to New York City.

New Pool

This is me swimming at our new pool. We got a gym membership at the health club where we live. We can go anytime it's open and Mommy Laura is most excited about Bodypump classes, the workout rooms, and most importantly, the Sauna. (OK, was this post about me or my mommy?!?)

Cousin Jessie

My cousin Jessie recently came to babysit me as I had a few days off from school. She took me all over the city, including an expedition to see the Statue of Liberty! Jessie just graduated from Kent State and Majored in Pottery so we did a lot of relevant art expeditions too. Thanks Jessie!

PS. She is also a fellow Ginger ;)

Saying goodbye...

to Mommy Laura's La Leche League co-leaders. They taught Mommy Laura more than all the parenting textbooks combined.

to all the blackberries in the back yard...(and the jam too)

to Toronto Centre Island.

to Lillian (formerly "Baby Lilly")

to my friend at school. Granger.

I'm going to miss all of you. But have wonderful memories.

Camping Weekend

This weekend we went camping at Jellystone Park at Niagara Falls. We roasted marshmallows, played mini-golf, rode my bike ALL over the park, visited Niagara Falls, went to the Welland Canal to watch a huge ship go through the lock, danced, and just relaxed and had a good time. I can't wait to go back on my next camping trip.

Pimp my Ride

Grandpa Wagner got together the *coolest* bike ever for me. When he told me about it, I couldn't wait to get to Ohio to pick it up "Is this Grandpa's Exit?" I asked Mommy Laura as we approached each exit from Toronto to Ohio. Now it doesn't leave my side- I've been riding it every day to the swimming pool and even rode it to school on Monday.

And, how many of you have ridden an elephant? Well, I have:

Cluck Cluck Cluck

I just spent an incredible week in Ohio with my family. Unfortunately, Mommy Laura didn't take many pictures. I had a great time helping Aunt Tessa collect eggs from her nearly 100 laying hens. I also went to a wedding, wading pool, swimming in a 5 gallon bucket, canoed the Cuyahoga River, picked blueberries and red raspberries and generally just hung out with my Ohio family. This city girl is looking forward to the many summers to come.....

Ship Ahoy!

To celebrate Canada's birthday we rode our bikes down to the Harbourfront to see some tall ships at a Festival going on this week. It was really cool. Happy Birthday Canada!
